While we repented about the things we’ve said against our nation, Nigeria, I saw someone sweeping a tarred road that looked like a bridge.
The road was filled with dried leaves. I wondered where the leaves had come from because there were no trees around.
I had an impression that the leaves represented the effects that murmuring, complaining, and ingratitude had on our land. As a result of how much we had murmured and complained, things had become tough in the nation.
It was as though the difficulties faced by people were not meant to be as they were right now; things were to be a lot better, but for our murmurings.
