The Command Structure of the Kingdom of God is headed by the Father, who is over all. He has handed over authority to His Regent, the Lord Jesus.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18
The Lord Jesus is the noble man who went to receive a Kingdom. He is the Son, the only begotten of the Father. He’s been empowered to act on behalf of God, 100%. He is God. He has been made God, by God the Father, as opposed to other sons of God which do exist.
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. Job 1:6
Under the Lord Jesus Christ, there are multiple thrones, dominions, powers, and other such like.
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:9-10
…who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels and authorities and powers being made subject to Him. 1 Peter 3:22
Man is below these Ben Elohim or Angelos at this time, but He has also been invited by the Father to assume or attain Sonship status.
For You have made him (man) a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, Psalms 8:5-6
Beneath this structure are the animals and other things God has created.
This is the command structure: We have God the Father, then the Lord Jesus. Below that, we have the sons of God and angelic beings. In that same level is Satan – the devil with his angels – and they rule over kingdoms.
Now, while Satan has authority, he does not have authority over heaven, but on earth. He has authority in this present world – this present age, this kosmos, the present arrangement of things.
We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 1 John 5:19
Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. John 12:31
Man himself has authority on the earth; he has dominion, but it is limited. Satan’s scope of dominion shrouds man’s at this time, because God subjected all these things to death. Creation is groaning, and death reigns over all.
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption (death) into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Romans 8:20-22
Who is he that has the power of death? Satan.
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14-15
In each of them, we see the extent of authority they have over all, but God has handed all authority to the Lord Jesus, in heaven and earth.
Christians are part of the Kingdom of Light, and this Kingdom has continual war against the Kingdom of Darkness; they struggle for supremacy, contrary one to the other.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:17
