Jesus said, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble” (John 11:9). “It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light” (John 11:10).
Then He said plainly, “As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work” (John 9:4).
When do we work? When it is day. When morning comes, it is time for work, it is time to gather bread, it is time to acquire the will of God. When night comes, that same flow is no longer available. You cannot be active in the same way.
So when God brings you into a season where His will is clear, He is telling you: work. Gather. Learn. Do it. Finish it. Because night is coming.
Ask yourself: have you finished it? What was the assignment? What did He tell you to learn? What did He tell you to stop doing? Who did He point you to? Have you finished it?
