Some believers are too careless around spiritual leaders because they do not understand that ministers are still human beings.
You hear people say, “Is it not the same God everybody is praying to?”
Then why did you pray about something for years and nothing happened, but when another person prayed, something shifted?
There are things that make spiritual authority effective. One is righteousness. Another is anointing.
But because many Christians do not know the difference, they expose themselves.
I have told people before, do not enter a man of God’s bedroom carelessly. Don’t behave without wisdom. Don’t say, “He called me to his house,” and you move anyhow.
Be careful. And don’t become a stumbling block too.
Remember ministers are still human beings. Flesh can still be tempted. That is not an excuse for sin. It is simply truth.
Some people become angry when these things are said because false teaching has made many believers childish. They think acknowledging weakness means dishonoring ministry.
Wisdom protects people.
When somebody begins to behave wrongly around you, you should not stand there acting shocked as though temptation does not exist on earth. You should excuse yourself and leave.
Believers must stop behaving as though spirituality removes humanity completely.
The Bible says watch and pray (Matthew 26:41). Watch. That means be discerning. Be wise. Be careful.
Many people have suffered because they assumed every anointed person was automatically mature and righteous.
No. A gift is a gift. Righteousness is another matter entirely.
