God shapes human instruments for specific purposes.
Some people are shaped to pierce with truth. When they speak, conviction comes. Their words go deep because God fashioned them that way.
Some are shaped to crush resistance. Some are shaped for correction. Some for protection. Some for governance. Some for intercession.
God does not shape everybody the same way.
Part of the shaping process includes what God allows into your life. It includes the people He exposes you to. It includes the books you read. It includes the messages you hear. It includes the voices He permits to influence you and the voices He deliberately keeps away from you.
Many believers do not realize that God is actively shaping them. Sometimes God allows one person to learn from a particular teacher while keeping another person away from that same influence.
Not because one teacher is good and the other is bad. But because God is producing a particular instrument.
God knows exactly what is needed for the assignment He has prepared for you. Trust His shaping process. Trust the lessons. Trust the restrictions. Trust the training.
When the process is complete, the instrument will be suited for the purpose for which God designed it.
