Ephesians 2:10 says we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand for us to do.
That is talking about after salvation. After you came to Christ, God placed you into a path that has assignments attached to it.
Some believers think grace cancels responsibility. No. Grace brought you into the family. Now you are expected to walk with God in obedience.
The Israelites placed blood on their doorposts during Passover. That blood marked them for protection. But imagine wiping off the blood afterward and returning to rebellion.
Do you think nothing matters after receiving mercy?
The New Testament repeatedly says judgment will be according to deeds (Romans 2:6; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Peter 1:17; Revelation 20:12) — what people did, not merely what they claimed to believe.
Everybody has opinions about grace, faith, righteousness, acceptance. But heaven pays attention to obedience.
God prepared works for every believer. The tragedy is many never do them. They spend their lives chasing distractions while heaven waits for obedience.
One day every person will answer for what they did with the life God gave them.
