I got,
“Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4
I heard,
“The rivers of water will sweep away the cruel…”
a part of the song, “We Are Available”.
This went on and on for a while. While this line was playing in my head, I saw a river carrying out multiple functions: softening things, washing away things, pulling down things, amongst others.
I saw someone carrying a very heavy load on their head. I saw that this weight was really suppressing the person. I saw the waters rise up and wash the load. The load wasn’t taken off, but it became a lighter burden.
I wondered,
“Why wasn’t the load taken away?”
I felt that that was the best thing to have been done, but it seemed like I was thinking like someone who lacked wisdom. I quickly reminded myself that it wasn’t that we would not face some struggles in our walk, but more importantly, we were going to have God walk through them with us. It brought “not leaning on our own understanding” to mind.
Making the weight lighter was still God walking through the situation with the person.
Then I saw an operation going on. I heard,
“Repairs”.
I figured out that the Lord was repairing things that were spoiled in people’s lives.
My mind drifted back to Psalms 23:4, then I heard,
“Replace the fear with the fear of the Lord”.
It seemed as though the spirit of fear had been sent out and people were going to be greatly affected by this. It was to manifest itself as the fear of man. I heard the scripture,
“The fear of man is a snare”.
While the prophetic brother was speaking in tongues before he began giving the word of understanding, I heard what seemed to be an interpretation of the tongues:
“My harvesters, where are you all? Can you not see that it’s time to glean? What are you busy doing that is more important than what I have called you to do? My labourers, where are you all? Can you not see that the ground is ready for planting?”
I saw a huge field with crops that were ripe for harvest; some were already falling to the floor, but little or no one was in the field to work.
I saw a large piece of land that had been tilled, basically prepared for a new planting season, but no one had come to plant on it, and this was going to lead to late yield or no yield.
I saw people who were supposed to be doing this job just relaxing and enjoying themselves, with the hope that they would do it at their own pace; after all, it was still their job to do so. What they didn’t know was that it was going to delay the next person.
The picture that came to mind was a relay race where, instead of running to pass the baton to the next person, the person chose to walk instead.
