The Bible says God made His servant like a polished arrow and then concealed him in His quiver [Isaiah 49:2]. A quiver is where arrows stay until it is time to be shot.
Some of you are in your quiver, and you’re quivering.
Be very careful that you do not fall out of your quiver or jump out before it is time. People who refuse to trust God’s timing eventually regret it. Why? Because they are trying to make God adjust His process for them.
Many believers struggle because they are double-minded. They want God’s will, but they also want their own timeline. They want God’s purpose, but they want it delivered according to their preferences. The result is instability.
A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways [James 1:8].
Some people keep asking, “Why should my process take this long? Why can’t God do it faster? Why can’t He prepare me in months instead of years?”
We live in a generation that wants everything immediately. We want fast results. We want instant answers. We want acceleration in everything.
But you cannot rush God.
If God wants to make you into a weapon in His hand, He will take whatever time is necessary to shape you properly. He will not shorten His process because you are impatient. He will not abandon wisdom because you want speed.
An arrow that leaves the quiver before its time becomes lost.
Stay where God has placed you. Trust His timing [Ecclesiastes 3:1; Habakkuk 2:3].
When the day comes for you to be sent, God Himself will shoot you forth.
